On my walk yesterday I told God I feel like so many of His people have been caught up in a war that was never ours to fight. We’ve been baited into being soldiers on a battle field where the keyboard is the weapon and the subtle, potential victory driving all of us is a complete lie.

The house next door went on the market yesterday. I just happened to be on my porch changing things up for “spring” when the realtor came by. This morning I saw the listing. Our houses are mirror images. Yet they look vastly different inside.

My name is Catherine Shea, I'm a mom, a writer, a speaker, a leader, an activist, a free-spirit and a fierce follower of Jesus Christ.
I'd love to tell you I balance all those things really well.
I do not. I struggle.
I find myself in pieces a LOT.
And then I find that my great God isn't as bothered by my messiness as I am. He kindly and patiently picks up the pieces of my mess and puts them together to show me He's at work in it all.
So that's what you see here. His work in me.
I am shaped by surrender - the choice to trust deeply and release control. Rooted in the assurance that I am fully loved by my Creator, I pursue growth not to prove my worth, but because I love becoming more aware, disciplined, and aligned with my purpose. I have learned that the greatest clarity and purpose are found on the other side of letting go. This kind of living frees me up to live like I'm F
UND - like I'm here on purpose - with a purpose that changes the lives of everyone I meet.
My mission is to cast the vision of living like you're FUND through storytelling that invites self-reflection, surrender, growth, and clarity. Through speaking, serving, and writing, I create thoughtful content that helps readers and listeners better understand who they are created to be, and how to live with purpose.
I envision a world where people live like they're FUND. That is, to live grounded in purpose, secure in identity, and aware that their lives are meant to create meaningful change wherever they go. I move toward this vision through service, speaking, and surrender - allowing God to lead where my understanding falls short. I choose His vision over my own, having learned that surrender opens the door to what I could never build alone.
Authenticity – I value honesty over perfection and choose to show up as I truly am.
Integrity – I live in alignment with my values, even when it requires courage or sacrifice.
Intention – I choose to live and lead with purposefulness, making decisions deliberately rather than by default.
Impact – I believe my life and work are meant to create meaningful change, leaving people and spaces better than I found them.
